Northome model VI

I'm looking at this radio and I really like it but I'm not certain how hard it would be to restore. The seller states it sat in a basement for many decades and I know that basements can do a number on radios. The cabinet is in great shape and it has all of its tubes which are Cunningham cx 301A's. I've never seen or touched any radio that old. I believe its from 1926. I imagine its quite different from 40's and 50's radios which are ones I've been into previously. My main concern is I don't want to get it and then either have it be so bad its not restorable or that I screw it up.
