I have been looking on line,I think it is a Detrola Model  106. I went and checked it out. Looks like every thing is there.Someone had the chassis out and only replaced one mounting screw. Seller said he turned it on and a couple tubes light up.I don't think he had cause the ac cord was in real bad shape, not much of it left.He was asking $85 for it. I took some pictures and will get my kids to help post them.

Looks like the chassis may be the same.

I believe that is the one they refer to as the "mantel" model.

Again it looks like the same guts but a different case.

Seems complete but whats your thought about a loose chassis floating around with only one screw holding it in. Like someone has had it apart. Would that stop you from taking on a project like this?

Also all the shafts seem to be frozen ,tried the tuning knob frozen ,did not want to force it or damage the knob.and whats with the V-1 rectifier tube ,can you still find one if needed. Would like to keep it original but could always use a diode.

That one looks pretty rough. You might want to try to pull the price down some regardless.

Doc, am I remembering correctly that one time you posted a link to a website where you could search for possible model numbers by tube line-up, or am I dreaming?
