2 passings to report on

Post by Dr. Radio on Mon Nov 03, 2014 8:28 pm

Remember the tune "Stranger on the Shore". Mr. Acker Bilk has passed:

If you are a car enthusiast, perhaps you've listened to the familiar humor of Click and Clack on NPR, Tom has passed:

I don't how those two would regain there composure after some of there laughing spells. There ending credits were funny. For example; Peekoff Andropoff, Heywood U Buzoff, Roxanne Debries, etc.

You would never know when listening to them that they both graduated from MIT. Tom had a Ph. D. in marketing. Yet very down to Earth guys. Many offers for endorsements but they never sold out. They set up an garage in Cambridge (edit: in the late 70's) where you could rent a bay and tools for $3 an hour. I never would have kept my heap running without it. With your three bucks, you got advice and an extra pair of hands from Tom or Ray. Great guys.
