It is!  Very Happy

What I don't find interesting is all the people wanting to go over my fields with metal detectors.  There are a lot of Civil War items in my area.

Cannon, mortar and bells have always had a close association since bells were used with formed stones and gunpowder as early siege weapons. The ability to cast bronze into a void free structure and it's resistance to the corrosive effects of the fired propellant made it a popular choice for field pieces. It's good to see an active cultivation of history. The kids need it.
