We have Centurylink and they give good service. The frau has to call them almost every month to get some bs charge taken off the bill. I see on the news where AT&T finally got caught with their fingers in the cookie jar and have to refund millions of dollars to their victims, er, customers. If you get Centurylink, you should look carefully at your bill each month, or they may nickel and dime you to death. Rolling Eyes

I finally got Ooma. I had not seen Centurylink in my searches. Maybe it's regional. Speaking of AT&T, How many poor souls are still leasing home equipment from them?

I have no idea, but "cramming" (what the hell ever that is) is what got them slapped by the FCC. I guess the deal went that they would send you a cutesy email, something like how many stomachs a giraffe has (or other worthless drivel) you would open the email message, and then good old AT& T would gouge you for $9.95. It's about time, to my way of thinking. Many of these poor souls may be less poor after the great KA-CHING from AT&T. That's why I have a Trac-Fone.

I use prepaid AT&T with my own phone for mobile service. $25 for 3 months with rollover of any unused time.
