An RCA sign

Willy, this is right up your alley. You would probably really like one of these, if you don't already have one.

I have seen those signs quite a bit. I am thinking late 50s as well. My sign is from the late 40s to early 50s from what I can find out. I would like to have one of these yellow signs but the only one near me the guy wants a grand for,far too much for my taste. I don't think they are too big but that would be a plus. Here is mine.

I also have this never used window sticker from about the same time as my sign. I think I like these red, black and white signs better than the signs with yellow. But I do like the yellow ones. Here is the sticker, I have it framed now.

Whenever I see a sign, I think of Willy. That sign is nice, though, isn't it? I have no idea what they want for it.

Thanks for remembering me wildcat! I think it reminds me of the elmers who helped me so much. I like to get them and display them for folks to see as a tribute for all these TV and radio men as they were called. I have even thought about writing a book and tell some of the stories I know. Sadly the last two elmers I thought so much of have died in the last 3 months. Now I think all of them are gone that I remember so well.

I lost both my elmers, so I know how you feel. I'm sorry for your loss. Every time you fix a radio, or look at a sign, you will be honoring their memory.
