Homebrew RF millivolt meter

It works well up to about 3MHz and is fairly accurate. It does all I need it to do and seems to pick up the RF voltage in tube radios without excessive loading. Handy for quick checks, but mostly done for the fun/challenge.

Thanks. It was certainly an education in broadband RF amplifier design in trying to get it to 1. Gain enough 2. Not oscillate 3. Have pretty much a flat gain across a wide range of frequencies. 4. Have good input impedance.

Lots of tweaking and reading...Fun though...learned lots.  Very Happy

One of the great experiences of learning is making HB stuff. I don't think I ever built something that didn't need "tweaking" or modifications, but it is a great feeling getting it to finally work.  Wink
