Need power cord

Post by texasmike325 on Mon Mar 03, 2014 10:33 pm

Looking for a power cord to my Motorola portable radio. The prongs are about half an inch apart. I've been looking but haven't had any luck. Anyone have a spare you would be  willing to part with? Thanks!

Is that a common interlock cord and plug? If so, it should not be too difficult to find. If it is something other than that, it may be a longer search. Good luck.

Is it a Home type radio or commercial (police or fire) is it a Ham type?
Not to much info to help also the year would help. Is it solid state or tube?
The model number would help, Motorola made many types of portable radios, can you take a picture of the receptacle?

If the cord is missing from the unit, it looks like a regular 110v cord is used with it, and the plug end is connected to the radio's internal socket to get power from the batteries. there is an illustration of the instruction label at radiomuseum.
