I have an el-cheapo that I bought from Walmart for $29. An HP. Don't know the model, but they still have them. Good printer, uncomplicated, minimum of buttons. The frau made her own Christmas greeting cards this year, and printed them on this little cheap printer.

I've dealt with a lot of HPs. Bad thing is it seems to be a crapshoot regardless of price.

You buy an expensive model and its crap, you buy a Cheapo on special and it works great...

I just bought a 4500 series print/copy/scan/wi-fi model for $40 used from a going out of biz sale. Seems to work stellar with cheaper cartridge cost then my other older failing HP deskjet...

I have an HP all-in-one and this el cheapo. I have had good luck with HP, so I stick with them. My only gripe with HP, and this is a slight one, is that the ink cartridges don't seem to last very long.

Bought an HP combination printer from Sam's Club many years ago. 80 some bucks and I use it more than most people. Still running fine.

My HP combination printer is a 6500 series. I would not recommend buying anything from Best Buy or depending on the Geek Squad to know squat. They know less about what they sell than I do, and that ain't much!

After having software problems with an HP and finding replacing the ink cartriges on an Epson cost more than the printer did, I got a Canon Pixma series all in one. The software is easy to use and the ink comes in two different capacities and are reasonably priced. It's printing is razor sharp and copying color reproduction is flawless.

My hp was a three in one, that lasted for a brief time. Then, it kept saying out of ink, out of paper, and, printing whiloe doing NOTHING.
It hit the trash last year... It was a 6500 series...
I don't have a printer now, and, wish I did...
