Try eating some soda crackers first. It should help. Pain meds tend to do this...

I do that and take them with milk.  I had a couple of bouts with gastritis and that was bad to get and not real easy to shake, at least before the acid blockers.

I know the feeling. Milk, by the way, if you are alergic to it, will make acid reflux worse.

I have hopeful news all the way around on health.
Finally heard what could be definately causing , sorry, folks, the diarhea. That I already knew. It's my stomach, known because of the color.
But, I still had to find something for the acid reflux. I have. I took first proper dosage of both, and, things appear to be improving. Stomach isn't even hurting as badly.
And, I FOUND A NEW DOCTOR!!

I needed to dump that doctor fast! Very negative.
"Mr. Cahill, you have it tough. You need to be put in assisted living. Mr. Cahill, you are blind, and, blind people can't care for themselves!"
I've been living on my own for over 45 years.
Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll bet reading some of your television restoration threads would tie a knot in the former doctor's tail in a t-t quick! Twisted Evil

Well, at least for the moment, those tv's are locked up, and, I can't find my red ones. Now, on the health, this morning, my stomach's hurting some after eating breakfast, btu, it's the best it has felt in two weeks.. I'll be taking my acid mediicind soon.
I'm happy to report I haven't had diarhea since early yesterday evenning.. Not yet, this morning..
If the stomach keeps improving, and, things continue to even out, I'd say I've improved alot....

Started new meds yesterday to try to overcome problems. Had more problems today, but, now, I seem to be improving a bit. I'm hopeful I'll soon be back to normal.

More good news. I started on two over the counter meds. Ends up one I didn't need. Oh, well. One I'm keeping is working on my acid reflux. Slowly, but, surely, I'm feeling better, and, stating to eat more, again. Eating was nearly down to Zero. I couldn't put up with that, and, live. Still have a way to go, but, I am feeling better. My acid rerlux is a permantnt chronic problem I got after having to have my gaul bladder removed years ago.
I'm on the road to recovery.....

Latest updates.........................................
Officially, as of yesterday afternoon, I have a new medical doctor. I have effectively dumped Dr. Baula. He caused me nothing, but, trouble.
He believes I belong in a nursing home. His, that is...
My new doctor looked at my legs, and, said I am taking good care of them..I'm clean, the wounds that mysteriously pop up are clean, and, stay that way.. They have scabs, so, there's little that can be done, outside of washing them..
My legs still have some of the brown stuff remainning from the celulitis. Both legs, and, feet are still slightly red, but, more of a pink. He's not concerned with that. He said swelling is down to a manabeable point. I put my legs up in my recliner several hours a day.. It makes for a sleepy day, but, I must do it...
He doesn't agree with Baula that I can't cere for myself. He said it is obvious to him I'm doing a good job of it.

This dr. is very friendly. His name is Dr. Soe. He's very nice, and, cares for his patients.
Oh, my blood pressure was great yesterday. 118 over 60. That's great!!
My weight is down to 250 lbs. Still high, but, improving. Three weeks ago, or, so, it was 251.8.
He is going to pursue my medical records from Bayfront, St. Anthonny's, and, other dr.
My next appointment is in February.
He asked alot of health questions.
He is going to look into "The boot", but, said, honestly, at this time, I don't really need the machine.
Later perhaps I will.
Walgreens pharmacy reccommended him very highly, and, I'm glad they did.
He's a good doctor.
A regular Dr. Stone.
Slowly, as my nerves calm down, my stomach is getting better.

Keep up the good work Bill. With the right doctor things should get better. It's a crap shot at best on many of them. Put you in a "home" as you can't take care of yourself? BS. You may be legally blind but if you can repair TVs, you have better eyesight than me! I wouldn't touch them! (TVs)

Bill be sure to use lotion on your legs every day. I too have cellulitis and every time I scrape my leg it gets infected and burns like crazy for several days. Now that I use lotion I get less skin tearing.

TV's aren't to be feared. Respected, yes. But, not feared. I have the lotion, but, most of the black stuff is gone. It's down to light brown...
And, my skin seems to be a little stronger now, though believe me, I have no intention of testing them to find out.
I am keeping a weary eye on them. I have a few small sores that popped up, but, as my new doctor said, they are already scabbed over... He is most concerned with keeping them clean, and, so far, so good....

Either it's gummed up, or, a bent part. Might be over arm is bent, and, not allowing it to work correctly...
