Joe from Indiana

Post by Joseph Newton on Wed Jun 12, 2013 10:00 am

Hey I'm Joseph, I've been into antique radios and fans for about 6 years now. I've been a member of "another forum" for over 3 years but do to new management(and the ego's of some members), my account and my general interest in the hobby has died. A friend from the "other site" told me about this group so I thought I would check it out and see if I could rekindle my interest of the hobby with a closer knit community.

Welcome, Joseph.  You will find that this is a friendly and knowledgable place to be.  A great bunch of folks here.  Lots of knowledge and friendly help.  No egos like the "other forum."  What part of Indiana are you from?  I think I know, but maybe you had better tell us, lest I am wrong.  Glad you are here with us.

Regards

WC

Just a friendly warning; TRF will not tolerate abusing one another in public.  If you have an issue with someone then use the PM feature. Everyone is welcome here but any bad habits you may have from elsewhere must be left at the door!

Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation!  Very Happy

Thanks, MEZ.  This is the exact reason I like this forum.  We don't have to listen to nastiness around here!

I'm sorry for not responding to PM's from some of you, but I'm having problems with the PM feature tonight.  I'm working on resolving it.  I have a few PM's I want to send also!

Thanks everyone, and lets keep this a happy place!  Very Happy

I second this. This is a well run place and no BS to put up with. If you like old radios without the forum drama you will like it here.

You said it. This place is heaven compared to a lot of forums, and there is also a lot of knowledge here
