Long absence

Post by Don Cavey on Mon Oct 06, 2008 9:45 am

I joined this forum back in March and for whatever reason, quickly forgot about it.

So let me apologize for my rudeness. As I said some time ago, my main interest is in tube audio. I know that many of you are also members of the Antique Radio Forum. I spend much of my time there and an occasional trip to Audiokarma. I often disagree with some of the statements made on Audiokarma and usually avoid them. Well, I am going OT.

So, over the next few hours, I will see if there were questions posed that I did not answer. I will try to stay more tuned in here as well.

Glad to see some very familiar faces here! Almost looks like the same old crowd that hangs out at ARF too.

Thanks!
Don

Very Happy Welcome back, Don. Great to see you return.
Been very busy myself. Picked up another gem radio. A Air Queen table radio. 1936. AC DC. Four tube set.
BARN FRESH! WOW, is it EVER!!!!
That will be a long project...... Also picking up new vintage telephones for use at home, here. I'm a proud member of a rotary phone forum, and, it's great....

Hey Bill A rotary phone forum, can i please get the website. My father worked for the phone company in the 50s when they would go into a nieborhood and replace all the phones. Yes he said wooden crank phones went to the dump by the truckload. I still have alot of his old western electric stuff
