Like what else is new? Gas has gone up 30 cents a gallon around here in the last three weeks or so. Anybody have any idea what gives?

It hasn't went up here in the Middle TN area. It has been 3.25 for a while now, maybe a few months. I wonder if it is a regional thing in your area if no one else has noticed.

It could be regional with the reformulation of the chemicals the EPA adds to the gas. The oil prices doesn't seem to reflect it.

1 litre of gas here is $1.40, making it $5.30 per gallon.

Conversion is; 1 US gallon = 3.78541 litres.

US$ and Aust$ are very close to parity right now, (1 US$ = 1 Aust$) so no conversion between the two currencies needed.

Worse still, the price per litre for gas can vary by as much as 20c on a week to week basis here because we foolishly are slaves to the varying OPEC price per barrel of oil.
