50 Miles From Kutztown

Post by ekimetsok on Sat Mar 23, 2013 10:34 pm

Many of you know me from other vintage electronic forums. I am also known for dabbling in knobs. Always up for new places to hang.

Welcome as well. Are you the gobs of knobs guy? I know radio pup because she comes to my local meets. But I am not familiar with others. So far I only had to find one knob. I have a stash of them but eventually I bet I will need some.

Do you have any fities tv knobs? I need a knob for a red RCA Victor 17" "deluxe" portable. It's one of the small knobs.

That's me, and I'm good buds with radiopup (Julie McCall). TV knobs are a tough sale. Simply to many styles to keep organized and stored, and not enough buyers to make keeping them worthwhile. When I buy in bulk, they always come for the ride whether I want them or not. I'll keep a select few, particularly the types that did double duty on radios. The rest, I dump on ebay or donate them to my local club.

If you attend the Spring Carlisle car show, I'll be there as a vendor.
