I collect too many things. However, I'm kinda narrowing down my interests because of a dire need for space. Also, because of my arthritis, I can no longer work with the boat anchors. So, I'm selling off the big stuff along with some older pieces of test gear too.

For the most part, I collect anything that involves tubes. AM or AM/FM tube radios of the table size, along with AM only transistor radios too. Since the transistor is well over 50 years old now, they have their place in my collection. I also collect, and like to play with crystal sets too.

I also like to collect any printed matter on radio history. Magazines, books, ads, etc., and some older semiconductors for display. And I also have a small display of vacuum tubes too.

I think that's it.

Mostly I collect radios from the mid 30's to about 1950 but I have to be rather selective as space is at a sort of premium.

Other than radios, little plastic figures from the 1960's (and later) called Rat Finks. I have a number of rare types.

I collect mantle curtain burners - two knobs, no dial, a speaker and a warm cord. (I usually make the cord so it isn't warm anymore but I try to keep the thickness the same.)

I collect boatanchors, Transoceanics, and battery sets mostly. Also a couple wood Philcos and whatever looks interesting. Here is a stack
of battery sets I piled on a coffee table. The big one on the bottom is a Federal 142 that has a chassis that slides out on rails. Others
are; Ace V, Tri-City W2, MRC one tube, Federal 110, and my latest- a Tuska 225. These sets are so darn had to photograph well. Most
look better in person. All my display shelves are full of other stuff, as are other rooms and most horizontal surfaces.

Old 8 and 16 mm films, projectors, 30's to 40's gasoline motors.
Also like old bikes from the 60's on down.
Have an old blue Schwinn Tiger bicycle I rode for the past 3 (four here pretty soon...) nearly daily. I think I put around 600 miles on it in three years... Shocked
Excersize? Pfft..
Dad has a 1933 Schwinn Cadilac from the same guy who got me started in radios.
My projectors are late 40's to 50's models. Two sound 16mms, one silent 16mm (Moviegraph L-947, uses a tail light bulb for a projection lamp) and a 60's 8mm.
My motors are a Briggs and Straton model Y, 1/2 horsepower, for a washing machine, and a 40's or 50's lawnmower motor for a reel mower.
Also, I have an old acoustic Edison Ediphone recording machine. bounce
Really have to SCREAM to get anything down... affraid
