"KT" Audio Tubes Empty "KT" Audio Tubes

I just viewed an amplifier that Sal B. built that used KT-88 tubes. Reminded me of when I got curious about that British "KT" on some tubes and I did a search and learned about "kinkless tetrodes". That was some time ago. I found it very interesting.
I wish my hearing was good enough to really appreciate some of the good sounds from a tube amp.
