Mp3 Player Empty Mp3 Player

Post by Guest on Wed Dec 05, 2012 8:01 pm

From time to time I see folks write about using audio sources for various purposes such as feeding period music through a radio or feeding audio through the AF section for testing. I wanted to share this little inexpensive unit I found. The version I use is 8gb, but this model has a good capacity. There are units that use fixed rechargeable batteries, but I always seem to have such units be discharged at the wrong time and this one uses 1 AAA battery. The sound quality is pretty good, much better if you use a better set of phones with it. It also has preset audio range settings. It also has a lcd display that allows navigation using a file tree.

Since writing this, I have found another unit that is physically similar to this unit, but has a 16Gb capacity. I ordered one a couple of weeks ago for about $17 with free shipping from Hong Kong. I got it a couple of days ago and have loaded a few albums on it and played them through headphones, ear buds, and my stereo system. It really does well.

Do you know how long does the AAA battery last?

With many models, it seems the battery is discharged even when the unit is turned off. This model seems to not have any battery draw when off. I use mine about an hour a day and the battery lasts around a month. It has a capacity indicator as a part of it's display. I wanted a unit that would not be taken out of service for charging. The discharge rate also depends on the volume at which it is played. I got a set of good Sony ear buds to use with it. It also has about 7 preset EQ configurations.
