Good evening from Montana!

Post by scottj5395 on Mon Dec 03, 2012 8:38 pm

santa Well good evening everyone. I have just registered as a member on this forum. I've been scanning through it and looks quite friendly and welcoming. I'm not a very good radio repairman but I enjoy trying. My son says I 've burned more up than I've fixed, maybe so. I am also registered on a "different, rather intimidating" site. I didn't post very often, kind of a lercker I guess. There is very little opportunity for this hobby in Montana. There are a few people scattered here and there but mainly your on your own. There is pretty good opportunity at auctions, etc. if there isn't any e-bayers around however my wife has put the kighbosh on that until I get a storage shed. I suppose she is right but I don't want to admit it. Anyway I wanted to say hello to everyone and I'll probably on here lerking often. God Bless all.

Welcome and you have found a great forum. Nice folks here with a lot of knowledge. Post any questions in the associated area and you will find lots of help.

One of the ways of learning is to burn a few up. Smile

This is a great place and you will be treated with respect! Never be afraid to ask a question, we all have strenghts and weaknesses. I've been to Montana, where are you located?

Under his avatar it says "Great Falls." I lived in the Billings area for a while and explored a lot of the state. As you know it is a beautiful one. !

A wife of mine who opposed my toys would soon be my ex-wife. That is why God invented garages. A man has to know his limitations.

Besides, we only have about 150 radios in the house.

Most folks find my attitude to be radical, unfeeling, male chauvinist pig, whatever. My wife of over 40 years finds it quite reasonable. He dad was the same way, though. With him, the world stopped during deer season.

Welcome! Good luck in your search. Try to find an auction that ends on a big holiday. You'll have a better chance.
