Video Karma

Post by N7ZAL on Fri Nov 30, 2012 2:52 pm

I saw Bill Cahill's signature line where it mentioned Video Karma. Checked it out and decided it would be of interest, so I registered. I then got this email:

Dear N7ZAL,

Unfortunately your registration at Videokarma.org TV - Video - Vintage Television & Radio Forums did not meet our membership requirements. Therefore your registration was deleted.

Sorry,
Videokarma.org TV - Video - Vintage Television & Radio Forums

What an outfit. Evil or Very Mad They didn't ask about my degrees or credentials and have no idea why they felt I wasn't "worthy." Frankly I wouldn't touch them again with a 10 foot pole.

Wonder if anyone else had this experience?

They have been getting slammed by spammers for the past few weeks. For the time being they have suspended any new memberships until the spam situation can be corrected.

Thanks Tony. I don't think I would fall into the "spammer" category. Very Happy

Was the ptoblem ever straightened out? If not, I can talk to Grumpy about it. I think it's because of your name. They thought you were a spammer.....

I got that same message. I got my membership, though. They are actually a pretty good bunch. Good luck.

They should have explained this is the email with an estimate as to when you would get accepted.
