Nice tester Jerry!

I got the 912 for $75, it's in great shape but is missing the 9 pin adaptor.

I have had good luck with my precision. I also have a hickok but I use the precision. I need to go through the Hickok and find a case for it.

Well after reading this thread I'm glad I picked up the 912, I need another tube tester like a another hole in my head. But could not pass the deal up a box of good tested tube and a 912 (missing lid) for 50$ At least the wife didn't complain she was the one that found the ad for the speakers AK-m for 45$, and another horn speaker for 40$. even helped carry them to the truck!

Nice catch! If I had called that shot, it would've been long gone when I went to inquire.

I know, that's what usually happens to me. This time I got lucky. I have an updated roll chart that was never installed and dated Novenber 1946. Some examples; the installed chart does not list the 35W4 and only the 50A5. The newer roll chart does show the 35W4 and the 50B5 but not the 50C5. I would like to get a more current chart and the 9 pin adapter for it.

Does anyone have a chart for the 912 newer than November 1, 1946?

I have 2 charts, one is the original from March 15, 1943 and the other is November 1, 1946.

I don't want to take your chart but would like to get some information from it, such as; the settings for a 50C5. My "newest" chart only shows setting for a 50B5.

I went to BAMA and they have the manual but no chart information.

Here are the settings for the 50C5:

A=6
B=11
C=28
D=27
E=1
F=6
Depress J

(50C5 Must show short on B-E)
(50C5 Fil. Cont. - Depress C)
(50C5 Grid Short Test - Depress B-E together)

Now I need to find a 9 pin adapter. I'm sure that will not be easy.

In case you need any other information from the updated roll chart, here's a PDF of the book form of the roll chart that came with my unit.  It also came with two "Tube Test Data" spiral bount booklets that appear to be dated 2-15-71 and 2-15-73 respectively.

Warning, it is a 21MB file.

Thanks, but I'm good for now, I have several tube testers and I don't always use the 912. I may try to Google that part number.

Unless I read something wrong, the instructions say to plug the Coletronics Model B-16 into the 9 pin socket. Maybe you have a newer revision which has a 9 pin socket?

Yes, now that you mention it, it does. In the upper right corner. Guess my addon wouldn't help you after all.

There is supposed to be a 9 pin adapter if I understand it correctly which plugs into one of the other tube sockets.

Here's a nice looking one;

Like mine it does not appear to have a 9 pin socket. Too much money in my opinion.

I realize it's not much help, but here is a picture of how the 9-pin is connected in.

This may be the information about the 9-pin adapter you are seeking:

It is but it looks to be too effort when I have better tube testers now. I still may decide to make the modification, which is pretty simple, if I ever find the adapter.
