Hurray! Gary at VM enthusiasts does it again!!

Post by Bill Cahill on Thu May 24, 2012 12:46 pm

Being a restorer who works on a number of machines myself that at least use a VM record changer, and, find some parts getting very scarce, I found some good news from Gary when I talked with him on the phone yesterday...

Gary is having some trim parts, etc., re-made for VM players, and, changers.
In fact, he is using the same mannufacturer that the company originally used to make these parts... They will be as exactly made as originals, since they have alot of the old tooling patterns.

I won't go to deeply into it, as my memory is weak, and, he will be officially announcing it when the items arrive. Arrival is expected in July.

One of the levers used in changer cycle is one of the parts.
Turntable rubber matts for later changers.
Also two types of center discs used on those matts.
Also, some decals, and, emblems. Some origninal types, and, some new ones for those who want extra decoration.

I'm personally excited about this, and, look forward to seeing the listing on his website.
LONG live Voice Of Music!!!!

Thanks, Gary, for all you do to keep the old companny going, and, helping us to resurect the old gems of the past.
True, they no longer made new machines, but, this, is still wonderful news. Gary resurected VM after purchasing what was left of the companny that went bankrupt from the owner....

Bill

I have used services of the VM folks in the past and was pleased.
I hope they continue to be there.

As a professional restorer, I do business with Gary quite a bit - and he's never let me down.
His business is priceless, and he enjoys my humor when I call him.
