Finally Burnt on Ebay

After more than 600 ebay transactions, I have finally been defrauded. I am only surprised it has
taken so long. Fortunately it was Less than $20 - a Life magazine with Hopalong Cassidy on the cover.

After hearing so many horror stories from others, I know I have been pretty lucky. A couple of
radios came with minor damage and one comic book mis-represented but money refunded. I
wonder if anyone else has had such a good run.

Yeah, it eventually happens. I'm up to about 2000 transactions (buy/sell) and the only ripoff that I can recall was a $3 item several years ago. Met some rather "interesting" folks along the way, though.

I didn't know you were into comics and mags Uffda! Let me know what you like.

Meanwhile, back on topic; I too have been lucky on eBay for not getting scammed. Worst I've had is no pay bidders. I never bid if I smell a rat, but I suppose a really clever rat will bite me some day.

I've been lucky so far.

No bad payers, just bad packing. Even then, it wasn't serious.

Looks like my good record has been restored! The Postal Inspectors raided my bad boy and found my mag along with others.
Just filled out the form so hopefully Hoppy will soon be here.
