1953? Motorola TV
Gents,
I have a Motorola chassie Y21K. 15k730947 is printed on the back cover also Serial number _18217 I dont know anything else about the set. My wife bought it with the intention of gutting it and using the cabnet the wood and grill is in great shape She pushed it against the wall and broke the CRT. I would like to get my 25 bucks back but would consider giving this to someone who appreaciates vintage TV who can use the parts or get her running again. I dont know anything about TV or radios.

Re: 1953? Motorola TV
It would be more difficult for me to install them.
You need Photobucket.
Get that. Upload from you computer.
Select the picture with your cursor by simply pointing to it.
A dropdown list appears. Go to Img code, and, highlight it. Then, right click on image code, and, press copy.
You then go to the post you are writing here, and, right click on a blank space, and, press paste, that puts in the img code from photobucket.
When You are done with each picture, or, typing your message, hit enter in the forums. It does all the work, and, Voolah! Your photos appear!
Actually, very simple.....

Nice looking set. Picture tube may be down to air, though. I'd look for another pix tube. Set looks like it's worth saving.

Re: 1953? Motorola TV
Bill I would give it to someone who would repair the set. My wife wanted it for the cabinet. I hate to see it just torn up.
I dont know anything about TV or I might look for a tube and give it a try.
I am like a hog looking at a clock when it comes to electronics
