Blaupunkt KW741

Im looking for more information about this model, is it rare ? All i was able to find is info in the radiomusem. Havent seen it to be on sale anywhere

Hi. Welcome to the forums. While German radios in this country aren't overly common, unfortunately, they also aren't highly sought after, either. There are collectors that apprecitate them for the quality of sound, but, they are difficult, at best, to restore. I have even seen a number of these sets where the plastic pulley froze, and, plactic shaft controls locked. Other than that, the capacitors can be a burden, and, some of the tubes expensive. So, as a whole, there isn't alot of value to these sets.
Some of the larger, more deluxe ones have more value, but, just not a real collector's item, and, if it's a radio-phono combination, while I will also admit they can be very fine sounding machines, they just don't have that much collector value.
