need help on Brand & Millen player

Hi there..I was wondering if someone could help me..I bought a Brand & Millen (Long Branch, Ontario) table top record player recentley. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about them? I have only ever seen Brand & Millen radios. Does it have value? It is a Model 103x Serial 11142 Volts 117 25 cycle. It did work when I plugged it in but then blew a tube.

This is a 25 cycle machine, and, not compatible with others, sch as 50-60 cycle. You'd have to find a converter to convet your line current to the type it uses.
Most things like this have little value, but, are, none the less, interesting to run into.
If you try to operate this on a higher cycle than rated, it will ruine your motor, at least.
